Tokyo Trip 2016 – Day 8 : Shinjuku National Garden & Tokyo Tower

Konnichiwa~

Today was another lovely day in Tokyo. The Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden was our main destination of the day. The garden was an 8 minutes walk from Shinjuku station, in addition to the extra 5 minutes we spent trying to find the entrance .

The scenery was stunning once we stepped in from the entrance. There was this beautiful greenhouse on the right side; and you could also spot the Docomo building in the distance.

This impressive garden consists of different sections; a traditional Japanese, an English and a French one. Every part of it was amazing; a great place for a picnic on a lazy day. Suprisingly, there was only a few people here that day. It was truly relaxing just walking around and being away from the bustling city life of Tokyo (❦ ᴗ ❦ ).

Tokyo Tower

After the Shinjuku Gyoen National garden, we headed to Tokyo tower!

The design of Tokyo tower was based on the Eiffel tower, but just in orange & white. It was lovely seeing the tower at close proximity
ヽ(・∀・)ノ. However, we did not go up to the observatories of the tower, as we’ve already seen the beautiful panoramic view of Tokyo city at the Skytree.

We made our way home to Oshiage for dinner, and bought another box of Tokyo banana But this time, we got the one with chocolate flavour, even though it still had a hint of banana in it (°◡°♡).

“Has anyone been to Shinjuku garden or the Tokyo Tower before?”

Stay tuned for our next the Japan post!
