This was our last day of sightseeing in Tokyo, time has truly flown away this past week ( ╥ω╥ ).
We went to Arca Kit for some shopping, we also wanted to visit the HUGE Daiso store for the very last time. Arca kit has many restaurants on the top floor, so we decided to get some lunch here. We ended up at this restaurant that had a Japanese buffet, as we thought it would be fun to try out. They had skewered seafood and vegetables that you could fry at your own table.
After Arca Kit, we made our way to Tokyo station, which is over a 100 years old. We stepped out of the wrong exit, so it took us forever to find the entrance to the old station.
There was this HUGE underground mall there, which we visited during our search for the right station entrance. We felt overwhelmed by the endless lines and corners of shops and restaurants. So we just decided to find the entrance, and move on to our next destination. After walking around for a good 30 minutes, we finally managed to find the old station! But unfortunately there was a lot of construction work going on, so we didn’t get a good photo of the station.
Our next stop was the Roppongi Hills Mori building, which luckily took us less time to find. We walked around the Roppongi area for a while, as the weather was so nice that evening (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡.
Later we headed to Shibuya for some dinner at Genki Sushi. It was a really fun experience, as you can just make your order on the tablet in front of you. And after a few minutes, your order would arrive on this sushi train (o^ ^o).
” Has anyone ever been to Genki Sushi before?”
After dinner we decided to call it the night, as we haven’t started packing yet. This was something that we’ve dwelled on, as we didn’t want to say goodbye to Tokyo.
This trip has been nothing less than amazing, Tokyo is now one of our favorite cities. It’s definitely a place that we want to visit again in the (hopefully not so distant) future! 💗
Until next time Tokyo!
Stay tuned for our haul post!
