Autumn day in Trondheim~ October 2017: Nidelva & Nidarosdomen

Hello everyone~

Autumn in Trondheim has been exceptionally beautiful this year. The weather is the best during this time of the year. Where it is usually sunny most days, compared to the summer, which mostly consisted of cloudy or rainy days.

I had a meeting in the city, but since it was so beautiful outside. I decided to walk instead of taking the bus. Which I am very glad I did, as having a quiet walking watching the autumn scenery just brightens my mood. For me, is such a nice form of de-stressing.

I think the colorful leafs on the trees just adds an extra touch to the beautiful scenery. The cloudless blue sky and colorful trees just compliments each other so well.

Honestly, I could just stand here watching the scenery for ages, and I was quite tempted to do that. But I couldn’t, since I had a meeting to attend.

Nidelva, Trondheim

There is this nearby by park, in the Marinen area. Which is a great place to have a picnic, or you can just sit down on one of the benches for a small relaxing break.

I also walked past the Nidarosdomen, which is a catheral in Trondheim. It is among one of the most famous attractions in the city. And it can be pretty crowded during the summer, as there are many tourists visiting the place.

Even though I have seen the cathedral many times, I couldn’t help but take I few photos anyway. So I felt a bit like a tourist myself.

The cathedral is very pretty at close sight. Once you notice the details of the stone carvings and the craftmanship itself. Which I find quite fascinating.

The tourist season is over, so there were not that many people here today.

“What is your favourite season of the year?”
