Todays spot is Hongdae or Hongik University street. Hongdae is an urban area in Seoul that is especially popular among young people. It is filled with a lot of unique cafe’s, and shops with trendy and hip fashion. You will probably get the chance to see some indie band perform on the streets as well. To get there by subway, you have to get to Hongik University Station and exit at exit 8 or 9 🚇.
We made a quick stop at Paris Baguette to grab some breakfast/ lunch before heading there. (*^ω^)
🥐 (´｡• ω •｡`)
The Korean Daiso’s are a little different from the Japanese ones ^^.
A huge New Balance store.
We decided to have some pasta for lunch today. And ended up at a pasta place called Pasta Buono 🍝.
Tomato and seafood pasta ( ＾－＾).
Creamy pasta and seafood ( ＾－＾).
We also went to a cafe after that, to get some desert. We couldn’t decide on which flavor of patbingsu to get, so we ended up buying more that we could finish. (￣▽￣*)ゞ
Berry flavored patbingsu.
Mango flavored patbingsu.
We also headed out to a local restaurant to grab some dipping soba for supper later that night. (Feels like I am always writing about food (ᵔ.ᵔ))
And that mostly wraps up yet another day of our South Korea/ Seoul Trip.
“Have you ever been to Hongdae?”
Stay tuned for our next Korea Trip post!
