The N Seoul Tower was our main destination of the day! First, we decided to visit the largest traditional market in Korea- the Namdaemun market for some shopping, but it was so crowded there. So we just browsed around for a bit before heading to Myeongdong, where we walked for around 15 minutes, to get to the cable car up to Seoul Tower.
You can choose between going up to the tower by foot, or taking the Namsan cable car. But since the weather was extremely hot and humid that day, we then opted for the cable car ride (≧◡≦) ♡. The cable car ride up to the tower, took less than 5 minutes.
Once there, you will get a 360 degree view of Seoul. This tower is surrounded by luscious trees from the Namsan park. It’s a good place to have a view of the city, both during the day and at night 🌇.
There’s a free open deck to see the beautiful views over the city! Although it was VERY crowded when we were there. The park at the base of the tower is nicely decorated by thousands of colorful locks. These locks are usually placed by couples. You can buy a padlock at the souvenir store at the base of the tower, and lock it in this area.
K-drama fans will know this site well. A nice place to visit with your s/o.
N Seoul Tower
We came down from the tower pretty late, so we just dropped by this random Korean restaurant in Myeongdong, for some late dinner. Not sure what this dish is called, but it consisted of kimchi, chili paste stirred with vegetables and seafood. It was a little too spicy to our liking.
And this wraps up our fourth day in Seoul 💕.
“Have you been to Seoul before?, if yes what’s your favorite place here?”
Stay tuned for our next Korea trip post!
