Korea Trip 2016 – Day 20: Ewha & Jogyesa Temple

We decided to go visit the Jogyesa Temple and go back to Ewha to do some shopping and eat at the same italian restaurant, Rimini again today. Jogyesa Temple is the center of Zen Buddhism in Korea. And it is famous for being located in the middle of the city. Which makes it easier and much more convenient to get here.

There is three ways to get here by subway: 1. is to get to Gwanghwamun station by taking the subway line 5, and exit at Exit 2 and then walk forward for about 150 m.

2.  get to Jonggak Station by taking the Subway Line 1, and exit at Exit 2. Then walk straight for about 70m, then cross the street. And continue to walk until you arrive at a path to the Temple.

3. get to Anguk Station by taking the Subway Line 3, and exit at Exit 6. Then walk about 50m forward, then cross the street in front of Dongduk Gallery. And walk until you arrive at a path to Jogyesa Temple.

JogyesaThere was something happening at the temple today, so it was pretty crowded. And there was a lot of tents.

Pretty fish lanterns at the entrance of the temple.
