Todays destinations consist of the Gwanghwamun area and Time Square. Time Square is a mall here in Seoul that has a department store, a theater, a shopping mall and a lot of restaurants. It also houses the CGV Starium, which consist of 12 movie theaters, including the world’s largest screen! It seems pretty interesting, so we decided to head there after checking out the Gwanghwamun area. (o^▽^o)♡
This area were founded in 1395 by the first king of the Joseon Dynasty, and Gwanghwamun is also the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
The most famous attraction you will find here is the Gwanghwamun Square is where the bronze statue of King Sejong the Great and General Yi Sun-sin stands. You will find Gwanghwamun Square right in front of the Gwanghwamun Gate. To get here from the subway station you have to walk out from Exit 5 of Gwanghwamun Station.
