Milla and Jouls’ Japan Haul 3: Snacks

Hello, everybody~. Milla and I decided to make haul posts about the stuff that we bought on our recent Japan trip. But since we bought a lot of different stuff, we then decided to make separate posts of what we got after categories. And we are starting off with a post about the different snacks that we got.

Snacks ~

Snacks Pocky

Pocky is probably one of the “most known” japanese snacks outside of Japan. They have a lot of different varieties of flavors, especially at Donki hote. We got our hands on a couple of flavors like; Strawberry, Chocolate and Salt, Matcha. While Norway only have the typical chocolate and strawberry flavors. And I have to say that matcha for sure is my all time favorite flavor. (o^ ^o)

SnacksWe also got our hands on some Pretz, which is another biscuit “stick” snack.

Umaibo or “delicious stick” is a corn puff snack with a big variety of seasoning on the outside. Some of the flavours are: Natto (fermented soybeans), salami, vegetable salat, corn potage, Teriyaki burger, Cheese and Pizza. I have wanted to try Umaibo for a while. And my favorite flavour is probably either corn potage or vegetable salat.  The stick was rather cheap. And yet rather yummy. You can get one stick for only 10 yen!

Tokyo Banana ✿

We also finally got our hands on some rather known Japanese snacks, Tokyo Banana. We got the original flavour and the chocolate flavor. I really wanted to taste the caramel flavour but they only had it at Tokyo station. But we didn’t have that much time that day, so we weren’t able to get it. (╥﹏╥)

Some of you guys have probably heard about green tea KitKat. Japan have a really huge variety of flavoured Kitkats, so we decided to try some. I am a really huge fan of Matcha flavour things so of course I decided to get some with Matcha flavour.

We also bought a lot of other snacks but we forgot to take some pictures of it. (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) Maybe next time♡.

“What is your favourite Japanese snack? Do you have any that you’ve like to recommend?”

Stay tuned for our next haul post!

  1. Japanese snacks are the BEST. I wished I tried more while I was there. I’m tempted to subscribe to one of those monthly Japanese snack boxes.
I love Hi-Chew! I bought a whole bunch while I was in Japan. I’ll be sad when I’ve eaten them all.

    1. Those monthly Japanese snack boxes sounds very tempting 🙂
We love Hi-Chew as well! Especially the strawberry flavored one (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡
