Today’s schedule was really packed, as we decided to visit; Shinjuku, Nakano Broadway and Shin-Okubo. We thought it would be convenient to visit all of those places on the same day, since they are pretty close to each other. But because of that, we were not able to spend so much time on each of them.
The first place we went to was Shinjuku✨. It is a pretty classic and modern area that houses a lot of skyscrapers and shopping malls. Shinjuku is one of Tokyo’s busiest areas. And its subway station is the busiest station in the world!
The NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building. ↗️
Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower
After browsing around Shinjuku for a while, we decided to head to our next destination. Cuz we didn’t have that much time. And because of that; there were still many places in Shinjuku that we didn’t have time to explore. Our next stop of the day was:
Nakano Broadway 💛
We weren’t sure if we wanted to go to Nakano or not. But we ended up going there anyway, cuz it was pretty close to Shinjuku. And let’s just say that we are so happy that we did❣️ Cuz we were able to find these really cute kokeshi bento boxes, that we have been looking for!
Our last stop was Shin-Okubo, Tokyo’s Korea Town. And to be honest this place was quite disappointing! We would not recommend coming here unless you are looking for a Korean restaurant or Korean food. If you are looking for Korean cosmetics then you would probably be disappointed.
After the disappointing trip to Shin-Okubo, we decided to go back to Tokyo Solamachi again, to grab some dinner at the food court before heading home.
Probably the best Karaage we have ever had!🍛
“What is your favorite Japanese dish?”
Stay tuned for our next the Japan post!
